Paul Mendez, Jessica Gaitán Johannesson and J.A. Mensah longlisted for the Desmond Elliott Prize

We are very proud to announce that three of our authors have been longlisted for this year’s Desmond Elliott Prize, a prestigious prize for first-time novelists. Paul Mendez is longlisted for his debut novel Rainbow Milk (Dialogue Books), Jessica Gaitán Johannesson made the list with her novel How We Are Translated (Scribe), and J.A. Mensah was also longlisted for Castles From Cobwebs (Saraband).
