Marina Kemp on The Sunday Times/ University of Warwick Young Writer of the Year Award shortlist

Marina Kemp, author of Nightingale, is on the shortlist for this year’s Sunday Times/ University of Warwick Young Writer of the Year Award. Worth £5,000 to the winner, and open to British and Irish writers of 35 or under, the prize has been won in the past by a who’s who of British and Irish literature, from Zadie Smith, Sarah Waters and poet laureate Simon Armitage to Robert Macfarlane, Max Porter and Sally Rooney.
