A Blood Condition by Kayo Chingonyi is shortlisted for the T.S. Eliot Poetry Prize

We are delighted that Kayo Chingonyi’s poetry collection A Blood Condition has been shortlisted for the T.S. Eliot 2021 poetry prize. The collection looks at the African nation’s turbulent history as well as the origin of HIV in poems that the Observer’s Kate Kellaway called “quietly powerful”.
